Elective Surgery Policy

High Pointe Surgery Center collects all copays, deductibles, and coinsurance amounts by the day of your procedure. Prior to your procedure, you will be contacted in regard to your anticipated patient financial obligation. A deposit is required for the estimated due balance. Payment plan options may be considered under certain circumstances. Your surgeon, anesthesia, and pathology services are billed separately from High Pointe Surgery Center.

Every effort is made to obtain the most current benefits information your insurance carrier can provide. If you have specific questions about your insurance coverage, please contact your insurance carrier directly.

If applicable, a refund will be mailed to you within 30 days after High Pointe Surgery Center receives notification from your insurance carrier that your claim has been finalized. Amounts owed above the deposited amount will be billed to you by Surgical Management Professionals. Payment for any additional balance will be subject to the policy guidelines set forth by Surgical Management Professionals.

This payment policy excludes cosmetic procedures which are deemed not medically necessary. Cosmetic procedures require full payment 2 business days prior to surgery. The cosmetic fees are based on your surgeon’ s estimated length of procedure, and are subject to change.
