POSITION: Casual Maintenance Technician
FTE: Casual (Non-Benefit Eligible) 5-10 hours per week
QUALIFICATIONS:
The Maintenance Technician position is responsible for the monitoring and performing general maintenance and maintenance of associated equipment.
JOB STANDARDS:
- Education: High School or equivalent. Building maintenance background preferred.
- Experience: Two years’ experience in related field.
- Availability to work on a casual basis.
JOB DUTIES:
Monitoring and performing general maintenance and maintenance of associated equipment.
Insures that all equipment is properly maintained on a regular schedule and maintains appropriate records.
Insures that maintenance activities do not interfere with patient safety and comfort.
Insure that proper documentation meets regulations.
Available for after hours and weekend responsibilities and emergency situations as needed.
Utilizes appropriate channels of communication. Keep managers informed of activities.
Other duties as assigned.
